The “100 Play Guarantee” is offered on all fort kits purchased on or after May 19, 2025, as indicated at the time of purchase. This guarantee provides a one-time refund if the fort kit fails to withstand 100 uses (plays) due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal play conditions, provided such failure occurs within 3 years from the original date of purchase.
Eligibility
- This “100 Play Guarantee” is valid only for new fort kits purchased directly from our official website, www.makeafort.fun, and all of its regions.
- This guarantee does not extend to purchases made through third-party resellers, online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon.com, Walmart.com), or any other unauthorized distribution channels.
- The fort kit must have been purchased on or after May 19, 2025.
- The fort kit must fail to withstand 100 uses (plays) due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal play conditions.
- The failure must occur within 3 years from the original date of purchase of the fort kit.
- The customer must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt detailing the purchase date).
- The customer must provide photographic or video evidence clearly demonstrating the damage that occurred during normal play, within the 100-play count, and corroborating that the failure occurred within the 3-year period from the date of purchase.
Claims must be submitted to customer support within 30 days of the date the fort kit failed (where the failure occurred within 3 years of purchase and within the first 100 plays due to a defect).
Claim Process
To initiate a claim under the “100 Play Guarantee,” customers must contact our customer support team at help@makeafort.fun. The customer will be required to provide proof of purchase, a detailed description of how the damage occurred (including when the failure happened relative to the purchase date and estimated play count), and supporting photographic or video evidence. Our customer support team will review the claim and may request additional information. If the claim is approved, a refund of the product price (original purchase price excluding any shipping and handling fees) will be issued to the original payment method. Any initial shipping and handling fees associated with the order are non-refundable under this guarantee. If the claim is approved based on the provided evidence, return of the damaged kit is typically not required.
Exclusions
The “100 Play Guarantee” does not cover damage resulting from the following:
- Intentional misuse, abuse, or neglect, including but not limited to body slamming, jumping from excessive heights, or using the fort kits in a manner for which it was not designed.
- Damage caused by the use of sharp objects, tools, or other items that could puncture or tear the materials.
- Damage caused by animals, including but not limited to chewing, scratching, or shredding.
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, minor tears or punctures that do not affect the structural integrity or intended use of the fort kit.
- Damage caused by environmental factors, such as extreme weather conditions, improper storage, or exposure to harsh chemicals.
- Fort kits used for commercial purposes or in institutional multi-user environments (e.g., daycare centers, schools).
Limitations
The “100 Play Guarantee” is limited to a single refund per purchase. The maximum refund amount under this guarantee will be limited to the original product price paid for the fort kit, thereby excluding any shipping and handling charges. We reserve the right to refuse a claim if the provided evidence is insufficient, inconclusive, or indicates a violation of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to modify or terminate this guarantee for future purchases at any time without prior notice; any such changes will not affect the guarantee for products purchased prior to the date of modification or termination.
Abuse Prevention
We are committed to ensuring the “100 Play Guarantee” is applied fairly and to prevent abuse. We will carefully review all claims and reserve the right to deny claims that we determine to be fraudulent, based on misrepresentation, or resulting from activities outside the scope of normal play. Patterns of frequent or suspicious claims from the same individual or address may be subject to further investigation and potential denial of future claims under this guarantee. Our assessment of what constitutes “normal play” and “misuse” will be based on the intended design and typical use of our fort kits.
